Professor Christine Stirling is Head of School of Nursing at the University of Tasmania. Christine is a highly regarded aged care expert and academic manager with over twenty years’ experience in improving conditions for older people in community and rural services. She has significant leadership experience in university and NGO roles and has an international research profile. A key focus of Christine’s research program spans health service innovation, engaging older people with dementia in services, and rural workforce innovation. Her expertise spans big data and linked data, and other forms of sophisticated mixed methods alongside more traditional quantitative and qualitative methods making her an invaluable reviewer. She has gained over 12 million AUD in grants and consultancies and has a strong publication record of over 100 publication. In the area of education Christine has led nursing curriculum changes and revised higher education pathways.
